You don’t need to know what you want.
Most clients arrive with a feeling, not a treatment name. “My skin looks tired. Something has changed and I can’t say what. I want to look after it properly.” That is a good place to start.
It’s not on you to know exactly what you need; that’s where our years of experience, knowledge and high quality products come in. This is what sets us apart from the rest and allows us to really assess not just your skin, but your holistic picture.
Here is what happens at your first consultation at Blanc, from the moment you book.
The good news: bridal skin prep doesn't need to be confusing. It comes down to timing. Start early, layer treatments strategically, and finish with light maintenance in the final days before your wedding.
Before you arrive
When you book, we ask how your skin feels and what matters to you. In your own words. There are no wrong answers.
We also note your preferences: who you’d like to see, what helps you feel comfortable, any events coming up. So the consultation starts from your concerns, not a form.
In the room
You’ll meet your practitioner. They listen first.
Then your skin is assessed. This includes a skin analysis with clinical imaging photos - an Observ scan is included in every first consultation. It shows what is happening beneath the surface, and gives us something clear to plan from.
We have years of mastering skin. That experience is why you can trust the plan. Your practitioner explains each recommendation and the reason for it, so every decision is made with you.
While your practitioner is conducting your consultation, she isn’t just listening and talking, she is deeply analysing your skin, the way your muscles move when you speak and your facial expressions. It’s this wealth of experience and knowledge that ensures your plan is personalised and custom built to you.
Your plan
You leave with knowledge and a plan, not a list of treatments.
It is built from your skin analysis and your concerns. It focuses on maintaining and preserving your skin over time, not correcting it later. No obligation to proceed with any treatment on the day.
We email your plan to you afterwards. You don’t need to remember everything we discussed.
After you leave
Your next step is booked before you go. After that:
- Within 48 hours: a personal check-in from your practitioner. Not a template.
- At two weeks: a review, in clinic or by photo, with any adjustments to your plan.
- Each season: a skin review, and a reminder when your next step is due.
- Each year: a look back at the year and the plan for the next.
We welcome you into our space; warmly and discreetly. We always begin with a friendly chat about you, your skin and your lifestyle, while we take note of all your features.
Who you'll meet
Our talented team of practitioners. With a multitude of experience.
Your questions
Do I need to know what treatment I want?
No. Tell us how your skin feels and what you’d like to change or maintain. We’ll build the plan together.
How long is the first consultation?
There is no set time. Every consultation is personalised to you, so we take the time you need to listen, examine
and analyse your skin, explain what we find and build your plan with you, without rushing.
What does a first consultation cost?
Your consultation is $100, which is redeemable on treatments with the same practitioner.
What should I bring?
Yourself, and a sense of what concerns you.
