A Perth thread lift uses a thread placed just under the skin to lift and reposition the skin, effectively reversing any sagging or drooping. The goal of a thread lift is to pull the skin back slightly in order to tighten the face and create a more youthful appearance.

The immediate effect of a thread lift procedure is the lifting of the skin and soft tissues of the face. The threads themselves last in the tissue for approximately 12-15 months and the combined effect of the mechanical lift and collagen stimulation lasts up to 3 years although this varies with different individuals.

A thread lift usually only requires around two days of recovery time. This is far shorter than that of a facelift, which usually has a recovery time of at least four weeks.

While you may experience some soreness and swelling after your thread lift, this is usually well tolerated. In fact, most patients usually only require mild painkillers to reduce these discomforts. After your treatment, you can immediately return to work and other daily activities.
